L E D Sidelights

Featured Replies

I know it's been asked 1000 before but I can't seem to find a definitive answer. I'm looking for LED sidelight bulbs for the Qashqai, and maybe the Focus as well. I'm looking for as white as possible(NOT blue!)  I've tried different ones before and they either stop working after a week or are a distinct shade of blue.

Found these on Amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/FORD-FOCUS-MK1-MK2-SIDELIGHTS/dp/B00KW5N0JQ/ref=sr_1_3?s=automotive&srs=4839107031&ie=UTF8&qid=1483795452&sr=1-3  Alltronix seems to be a reputable company. Anyone have experience with them or can recommend something else, even a bright white long lasting non-LED  would be considered.

I got ones from Car Enhancements UK. They're extremely white and match my Osram headlights.

http://www.autobeam.co.uk/ got my LED sidelights from there very bright white and look great.

Cheers for that. These ones? http://www.autobeam.co.uk/product-page/3274a24f-41db-d493-0310-276c07aea7f6  I see they do a 'superbright' version! Tempting

I bought the premium ones not sure of the differences but mine are incredibly bright and turn heads when I just unlock my car xD

Sods law. My CEUK ones have just started to flicker.

Ah, booger!!!

Bit of a revival but another one of my CEUK sidelights has started to flicker. That's 2 now. Absolute rubbish. Of the whole set I got, the focus MK3 set they sell, I'm only running the fog light bulbs from it. Don't waste your money on CEUK, buy elsewhere.

Do you not get a warranty with the lights? I had one of sidelights starting to flicker but got in touch with Autobeam (Company I bought from) they sent me new LED's out straight away.

Not sure tbh. Might not be much point getting replacements if they'll just end up breaking again.

You only seem to get 6 months warranty with CEUK not heard many complaints from Autobeam and you get 2 years warranty, the only reason mine started to flicker was through me messing about with my battery (As far as I think) but they were working perfectly for over 5 months only replaced one of them left the other in as it still works.

LED sidelights are simply not worth the effort tbh, had a couple different pairs & both ended up flickering, in the end binned the lot and went back to normal hassle-free bulbs.

Considering doing this myself.
