MK7 Fiesta rear passenger door won't open

Hello everyone, I have a 2009 Fiesta and today I went to take my son to school but the rear passenger door wouldn't open, all other doors are fine but this door won't open from the inside or outside handles.  Has anyone else had this problem? Is it possible to remove the door card to get to the lock mechanism without opening the door?
