DPF .Engine malfunction

Featured Replies

Hi.

I have a problem that like some advice. I have a focus 1.6tdci and over a few months have changed the Dpf Egr valve mass sensor full service then found additive run out. All filled up but malfunction light keeps coming on and goes into limp mode . Tried resetting by fuel flap many times no joy.

I am in Spain and not easy to find a good ford  garage to get it sorted all they say is it will come back on. This is no good so looking at you guys for some assistance

If you've got a smart phone or laptop, get an ELM cable/dongle and FORScan.  You can check which fault codes are still coming up and also reset the additive counter yourself with that.
