Need help removing Ford Fiesta MK7 low beam bulb H7

Featured Replies

Hi guys and gals!

I have new H7 bulbs to swap on my current Ford Fiesta MK7 14 plate and I've watched a ton of videos on how to remove the dipped beam bulb but when I've gone to remove mine it looks nothing like the one in the photos. It does say In small print Phillips Germany engraved on the metal bulb housing. I'll add photos, and maybe I'm being stupid but I don't want to break anything! I just need to know how to remove the bulb. That's all. Many thanks in advance! :)

Pull the connector off the 'prongs' of the bulb then move the metal spring back that's shown in the bottom photo at 5 o clock and 9 o clock position and lift the bulb out! (Basically give the bulb a good tug)

Thanks russ, I know what I'll be doing tomorrow morning... cheers !

If you leave the connector on, it 'could' make it easier to pull the bulb out if it's a bit sticky

So just pull the back bit out to start... and go from there!?
