tow bar electrics?

Featured Replies

sorry if this has been brought up already but i can't find anything. got a MK6 fiesta van NON facelift model and trying to find the electrics kit for the tow bar and the only one i can find is ford's but it's the wrong kit so can i just use a universal kit (just crimp to wiring loom) mainly the trailer plug i am having problems with caravan one is easy enough to sort.

anybody??

anybody??

your best and cheapest bet is just to get a bypass relay and connect that to your cars wiring using crimps and also run a 15A(IIRC) supply to it from the battery.

should cost you less than £20. this will also beep when indicating when the trailer is connected (legal requirement)
