Hi, I've been sent the wrong fan belt by some jokers on E-Bay. I ordered one for a 2006 1.4 Fiesta tdci with air-con and power steering, they say I ordered one for the same vehicle but with no a/c or p.a.s. What I want to know is, was there ever a Fiesta V 1.4 diesel without both these things? This belt is tiny, 38 cm from end to end (inner) doesn't look long enough to even go round just the crank and alternator.

I'm a bit confused as to what you're saying. You say you ordered a belt for one *with* a/c and PAS but they said you ordered one for *without* these? Do you have a link for the specific auction?

With regards to spec levels, PAS has been standard across all models for a long time now (way before yours) but a/c is often missing on the Studio/Style-end of the range.

they did them without aircon but i don't know about power steering. is there some confusion with the Mk numbers. 

2006 fiesta is known as a Mk6 generally in the UK, but as a Mk5 elsewhere. 

Even if someone tells you they did not do them with power steering that might just refer to the UK. 

different countries often have different options and luxuries on different models and Ford may well have done a bargain basement one somewhere without power steering.

Yes bit confusing I know! Ordered from a motorfactors on ebay, a belt for Fiesta V with pas and aircon, they sent me a tiny belt which they said was for a Fiesta V without both. Why I don't know?? As I said, JOKERS! Many thanks for your help though as I have told ebay that there is no such thing as a Fiesta V without both things, thanks to your comments, and they have found in my favour and I am getting a full refund without even having to return the useless belt.

Any one want a free alternator belt for a 2006 Fiesta tdci without pas or aircon?
