Bluetooth has lost connection and wont pair

Featured Replies

Hi,

Im sure someone here will know the answer and the solution. I have a 64 plate ford fiesta with the ford version of the DAB radio and sync system, not the fancy one that is in the ST.

It has worked fine for over 2 years, however now the phone just wont connect and ive tired pairing with other phones and it is not having it at all. It will say the code on the screen that is meant to be sent, however sometimes the phone will fine it, but then say its a 16 digit high security code, which isnt what is on the screen or most times it simply will just not connect to sync or even see that sync exists.

I have tried resetting the sync from the menu and that has done nothing. I have also cleared the bluetooth on the phone and tried other phones, which also dont work. I have tried my phone on in another car and no issues, so believe it must be something to do with the car. Any ideas of what I can do? If not would this be covered under the warranty as the car is still just about under it.

Try pulling the fuse and putting it back. You should be able to find the sync fuse number in your cars book.

I tried that earlier as I thought the fuse could have gone. Tested and all was working sadly .... as would have been a nice easy fix.

My car Had this exact issue , in the end I reset sync - waited for it to announce its safety slogan! Turned the car off and on again and it magically worked again,  it happens eveytike

my parter connects his one plus 3 phone ! It just doesn't like it!
