ABS Light Reset

Featured Replies

My girlfriends fiesta mk7 (61pate) has a failing front wheel bearing, whilst trying to find the fault with the car jacked up i ran the car in 1st gear to try and hear the grumbling from the bearing which i did ...... However i forgot to turn the traction control off and its has now permanently got the abs light on is there an easy way to reset the abs light or does it need to go to a garage to reset the light  ? cheers

You could try going into the menu and turning it off.   Then turn it on again.

assuming theres no fault, then the light should go out driving car above 5mph approx for a short distance.

Exactly what happened, 5 mins down road and it went off thankfully :)   on a side note does anyone know roughly how much a garage would charge for a front wheel bearing change ? thanks
