Featured Replies

does anyone know where i can get wind deflectors from for my ford fiesta 65 plate st line red edition. I have seen them online but they say only fits modelled to 2015 but the windows look the same will they still fit. can anyone help?

Yes they will fit.

Should fit fine.  Im using my MK7 ones on my 7.5 - they are about to go on their 3rd car!

They will fit, I have the Team Heko ones on my 65 plate Red Edition and they fit fine.

Yes, Easy. Its best to lubricate the window channel. soapy water, silcone spray.

Place the edge behind the mirror, placing the foot onto the door window wiping seal. push into the channel bend the deflector and push the rear end into the channel, flex the top and ease into the top channel.

Make sure its pushed up into the channel

lower and raise the window 5 or 6 times rifgt to the top. keep closed for 12 to 24 hours to enable the edge to seal into the channel.

Getting the actual deflectors in is super easy, the only bit I had a couple issues with was the little clips, they're kind of fiddly. Be careful when doing them so you don't snap the plastic on the deflector.

The Climair's don't have clips.  Much more money though than the Heko.

Didn't realise that. I avoided the Climair's after I read a couple of reviews saying they scratched the top of the window when closing and opening (could just have been bad fitting I guess). The Heko's seem pretty good for the price though.

Never had a problem with window scratching myself.  They aren't the easiest things in the world to fit though (being held in by their own structure/tension), so you are probably right about the fitting.  Mind you, I wouldn't say the acrylic they are made of is particularly hard so not sure how it would scratch glass :s.  I haven't experienced the Heko's on the Fiesta personally but found fitting them to the Focus rather fiddly with the clips in comparison to the climairs.  Great value though!
