My Fiesta van

Featured Replies

Hi all, Im new here, Already posted in the newbie section and thought Id show my new car/van.

Im looking forward to seeing other members cars and also finding out things about my van.

Ive got a few plans for the van to get it exactly how I want it.

The van is a base 1.4 tdci 68bhp and has done 136,000 miles but feels like new as its an ex lease with impeccable history and miles Im told were mostly motorway.

Thanks,

Steve

Thanks Dezwez

I had those wheel trims on my First Mk7.  Cheap and easy cosmetic upgrade is to get round ford badges from Ebay (they fit the centres perfectly, not sure what they were called exactly), lacquer them, and attach to the trims.  Makes them look a lot like alloys until viewed up close.  If you wanted to make the mirrors the same colour as the body you can get the caps off eBay pretty easily as well.

Hi mate, My plan is to get some ford alloys put on, The trouble is its so much harder to find things in Spain than it is in the UK, Ive found loads of alloys on UK ebay but obviously it would cost loads to get them posted and alot of sellers just dont want the hassle of posting to Spain anyway.

Another thing is over here in Spain its quite strict and you have to have the tyre sizes that are stated on the log book or your car will not pass its itv (spanish equivalent of an mot). The good thing is theres about 4 different sizes on the logbook ranging from 14's to 16's so atleast I can get 16 inch alloys.

Yes Ive been looking for mirror caps on ebay.... Again its harder finding some over here but Ive found someone breaking a 3 door in the same colour in the UK so might get a mate to grab the mirror caps and exterior door handles for me.... Other than that I will look for some breakers yards over here.

Ive replaced my reg plate lights for led's and also my map light and boot light, Im going to fit 2 light bars in the back aswell and maybe some led strips hidden in the footwells.

Thanks for the reply and advice mate.

Hello fellow van owner lol

Yes I love my van, Its basically a fiesta with a massive boot, drives and handles great especially when the back is empty.

I think the 1.4 tdci is adequate but Id love to see what a 1.6 tdci feels like though.
