I was recently involved in a minor collision and the front left side of my bumper was damaged, my fog light fell out and theres mainly damage to the paint, to me the damage doesnt look too bad, i was thinking repair costs would be around 200-300 so i didnt bother claiming through insurance as they want me to pay an excess of 600. Today i was given a quote between 900-1200 for the repair by Exan which seems extortionate for what seems like a simple job, does anyone know roughly what the repair should cost? Are exan just trying to take me for a mug? Ive checked new bumpers on ebay and theyre around 40 quid so was thinking i may aswell buy a new one and put it on myself
