Mk6 sounds like a tank

Featured Replies

Right as in title my little car sounds terrible will up load video tomorrow but I think it's hydraulic lifters now I no it also needs a timing belt auxiliary belt may as well do the water pump been as all that side of the engine needs to come apart to get the belts done so that's about £350 but not sure what's involved in having the lifters done but I bet it isn't cheap so that would probably take the bill to about £500 so I'm just wondering what engine choices are out there and how difficult it would be I've changed an engine before in a mk2 fiesta from a 1.1 to a 1.6 so no a little bit any positive replys on this would be great :-)
