Aux port stuck in console!

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I have a mk 7.5 fiesta and my aux port has become stuck inside the plastic of the car and I was wondering what you'd recommend I do to get it out. Is it particularly hard to get to it, or even worth my time? Or should I just bite the bullet and take it to my local ford dealer to get fixed?

I take it you want to remove the port from it's mounting hole?
You need to insert small screwdrivers into slots in the back to disengage clips.

That is basically what I think I need to do as the port has basically fell into the plastic surround. Thank you.
