I just picked up an i9nterior light with the map reading lights - now I know there are 3 connections- 1 live, 1 swithed earth(with door) and 1 constant earth

Anyone know which is which on this pic - the layout is slightly different to the old one

Ok ive worked out the vertical one on the far left is the switch earth, the horizontal one next to it is the earth and the one the far right is the live- any ideas what the thin copper one is just beow the bulb holder on the right (its hard to see but its half the height of the others and copper in colour)

    I think you have the unit with ambient led's fitted (submarine lights).
    Can you show a picture of the front of the unit?

    To answer my own question the above connections are correct- not sure what the brass connection is but it was not needed
