Fiesta MKV aircon always on? :(

Featured Replies

Hello, I've got a 2003 Fiesta with an aircon panel similar to this one

When I put the fan onto 0 I still get air coming through the vents. It does it on both hot and cold...

Anyone got any ideas

Cheers :)

When the car is moving, air will still move through. Is it a problem having some airflow?

For accuracy sake, the blue/red control is heat only and at fully anti-clockwise you just get unheated outside air. It does not control volume. It doesn't look as though you have aircon.

+1 to the above. That isn't A/C it's just a standard fan.

Is there still airflow when the car is stationary? Can you hear the fan working when you have the switch at zero? If you can it may need a new speed selector switch

As above, Completely normal. I noticed it on my mk7 the other day...
