Door only unlocks from the inside

Featured Replies

So I just got out of the garage with a new door latch for my rear drivers side door because it wasn't opening anymore at all, and now it opens and closes absolutely fine... when the car is unlocked... which is what I tested when picking it up from the garage..

I got home to discover that if I lock the car, the back door locks along with all the other doors, but then when I turn the key to unlock the car, that one door won't unlock. It does unlock from the inside, but not the outside.

Obviously I'll probably have to go back to the garage when I'm free again but I was wondering if anyone could point the problem in the right direction or give any tips to fix it myself?

Cheers in advance.
