Hi could someone please tell me if the hose currently fitted to my 13 plate focus 1.0 is the old or the new style i bought the car roughly 2 years ago and before i first serviced it i found out from a ford dealer about the recall on the degas hose, so i took it back to the ford sote i purchased it from and after leaving the car the for an hour so on return i was told by the technician that the pipe was chaged before the car was sold to my self now almost a year later i find the pipe has cracked leaked all my coolant luckly spotted before completely empty i would like to no if it has been changed or if iv been fobbed off any help would be greatly appreciated i have pointed to the area iv seen the leak

    This is the correct new type of degas hose. 

    This type of hose was not yet available in 2013 so for some reason it has already been replaced before you bought the car.
