Folding door mirrors on St-Line

Featured Replies

Suddenly realised today when I was trying to squeeze through a very narrow walled entrance to an old courtyrard, I don't know how to fold the mirrors in on my Fiesta ST Line.

Looked at the manual and I'm none the wiser. It hasn't got powered mirrors (apart from heating) and I tried manually pushing one in but it doesn't appear to move, don't want to force it in case I damage it.

Anyone know if they can be folded or not?

If they're not powerfold, then they just push in manually. They'll be extremely stiff though

They are pretty stiff, I remember on my last zetec with heated mirrors that I had to push pretty hard and also lift the whole thing a little too

Hmmm, think someone must've superglued mine, I tried again at lunchtime daren't push em any harder feels like I'm going to snap them off.

Only the Black and Red editions ST line have city pack folding mirrors. I don't know why they didn't fit them to the Zs 140bhp as well.

Powerfold is an optional extra which I've retrofitted to my fiesta

BUT

The non powerfold I used to have can be pushed in manually... They WILL fold you just have to push.. Same on all fiestas..
