Best Aftermarket Parts - 140PS Ecoboost

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I'm hoping this'll stir up a bit of a debate as I quite need the help!

Having not kept up with companies and aftermarkets parts I'm a bit lost for what to look for and how much it should cost - therefore, if you could throw your hats in the ring for best:

- Intake/Induction System

- Stage 1 Remap

- Hoses

- Catback Exhaust (Resonated)

- Rear Disc Brake Conversion

Thankyou! PFA (my old car!)

Intake - I ran over 170bhp with no signs of heatsoak with the AUTOSPECIALISTS STAGE 2 induction kit

Stage 1 map - stay WELL away from AET motorsport. So far theyve killed my car and one other, and killed one lads turbo. Id recomend Revo

Rear disc brake conversion - Just buy an ST rear beam and an ST handbrake cable

Catback exhaust = ive tried cobra and it was a horrific ***** cannon. Miltekare ***** cannons too. Id recomend a custom built exhaust from Tony Banks Longlife exhausts. I had my full system built there with sports cat (System has just passed emissions on MOT and is now for sale)

Thanks for the feedback mate.

I'll look into the AS Induction Kit, so far I'd found the J1 Automotive kit that I liked the look of, especially since the Mountune one is out of stock.

I've read previous threads of your hatred towards AET lol. I'm going to give Revo a ring and locate a dealer once I've got a few air flow mods done.

The rear disc conversion is something I'll delay I think, summer project maybe!

With the exhaust - I don't want a super high-pitched note - do you know of any? And what is your custom exhaust for sale for?

I had a cat back powerflow exhaust with resonator delete and its brilliant!

It's for sale because the cars going back to standard.. As I can't afford to map it again hence I want rid of the car for something faster
