Fiesta mk7.5 upgrading to a Sony radio or dab

Featured Replies

Hi, has anyone had any luck changing the standard fiesta mk7.5 radio to a Sony dab one?

I have a 2013 fiesta with just the standard non dab radio and I was looking at upgrading to either the dab radio or the Sony radio. I am unsure which would be best and how easy this would be. Can anyone help?

Yes it can and this topic has been posted lots of times, there is I believe even a tutorial on the subject.

Search this site for Sony DAB radio.

Apparently it can be hit and miss getting the DAB to activate. A sony unit with screen is just plug and play however, Ford removed radio codes with the mk7.

I've found out DAB is a but crap tbh, rather just use bluetooth with internet radio, or just old FM.

You can pick up a 2015 DAB model for around £100 off ebay, but you will need a factory antenna for it to work properly.
