Installing an AUX on a MK6

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Recently got my first car (mk6 fiesta style) and have the model 6000 radio, as you all probably know it has an AUX button but unlike some other models I have no 3.5mm jack to plug a wire into. Was just wondering if anyone knows how I go about installing an AUX input in my car and wiring it up to the radio?

Many Thanks,

Billy

You can get kits where it has a 3.5mm jack socket. you then need to use a lead with a plug on each end to connect the MP3 player or whatever to the socket. or like the kit above it has a plug which means you don't need the separate lead, just have lead hanging loose out of a corner somewhere depending on where you want to have the device situated
