Fiesta At - Clunking noise when changing gear

Hi all,

 

Was hoping someone could help me with a problem I noticed earlier on today while out taking my fist for a spin

 

I noticed that when I was changing from first gear to second, I could hear a "Clunking" noise, not really sure how to explain the sound other than that.

 

This isn't something that I have noticed before and it's loud enough in the cabin to be heard over the radio or whatever music is being played

 

I wouldn't say I change gears overly aggressively and I wasn't flooring the car at the time either, and it doesn't make this sound when changing from any other gear, only first to second

 

Anyone else had this problem or know what this could possibly be, I'll try and make a video tomorrow so it can be heard and gives you an idea of what the sound is like

 

any help is greatly appreciated

    It's normal in the ST, I believe its due to the dual mass fly wheel. I also have a clunking noise going from 1st to 2nd at slow speeds.
