I've been perusing the forum & came across an old thread regarding updating the Sync to a newer version.  I presume my car has Sync 1.0.  I've worked out how to read my current version, which is : CCPU   EDO92165.8...10349_spO...O_product.

Is this the current updated version & if not, how do I update it?

Also, there was a big discussion about Applink..Has there been any progress with that?

    I tried to look into this for my car a while ago. Realised if it was possible to upgrade, the extra features aren't worth it. If you're really desperate for the applink, then you have to fit a new sync module

    Yes, I read somewhere about the module.  As you say, not really worth it & if I'm honest the version I have does everything I need really.
