salsheikh
hi guys, the wife's purchased a Fiesta MK7 and when i was washing her car i noticed the mirrors were loose. I opened the door and took the grommet off the reveal the torq screw and thought I'd tighten it but it was already very tight so couldnt so was hoping someone on here knows of a fix? Also, the mirror caps appear to come off very easily and they are a pain in the derrier to put back on.
GingerFlame
The mirror caps are usually a bit of a nightmare to take off And the plastic trim can occasionally feel loose but it should clamp down a bit once the nuts tightened Which part is loose? GingerFlame
When your removed the grommet, did you check the little pins that locate it are in place? Failing that, take the nut off, whack a washer on the inside of it and tighten again, see if it takes up the slack Possibly had the mirrors replaced with non genuine ones

GingerFlame
I mean leave the mirror on, and just remove the nut, whack a washer on. And stick the nut back on again There should be one or two locating pins I forget :)
