LoganC990
Im looking to find out what my MK is for my 2008 ford fiesta. I assumed it was a MK5 but some websites say its MK4 and some say MK6. K&N filters says its MK5, Superchips says its a MK6. Im really not sure what mark my car is. Reg: SD08 KTG Thanks
alexp999
Just to confuse you more, a 2008 Fiesta in the UK would be called: Mk6 Facelift, or Mk6.5 (0.5 just means facelift anyway) Outside the UK, it would be called: Mk5 facelift, or Mk5.5. Clear as mud? lol.
Luke4efc
However some 2008 Fiestas are also the newer shape (from 2008-2017). These are the mk7 and 7.5 for the facelift in 2013. These often get called the mk8 and the mk9 on eBay etc.
GingerFlame
Or to be even more specific, ford don't even use the mk system anymore :p Everyone but ford does though hence why there's 10 different names for each car

To be fair, stuff changes on cars even mid way through its life (between facelifts), so it's always best use years imo. E.g. Ford changed to Sync on the 2008 Fiesta mid 2010, although it wasn't facelifted until 2013.

Also by any chace would you know if this: K&N 57-0468 induction is the correct one for my car?
