Recommended liquid for power steering

Hey Guys,

Looking at my power steering today, it seemed a darkish colour...not black but dark....don't think the power steering's been changed since...well its the same liquid in there for when london hosted the Olympics...

Had the two belts changed for fan 2 days ago and it still squeaks when turning (maybe not squeaking but it makes some form of humming noise)

Would that be ideal to use for my car? I'll be draining and bleeding it too.

 

I have a MK6 Fiesta 2006 plate!

Your best checking the owners manual. That will tell you exactly what fluid is recommended for the car. Couldn't tell you what results Halfords own will get you, but it won't be what Ford use in the factory.

Never recieved the owners manual when we got the car!
