Fiesta dash ambient light strip

Featured Replies

Hi I've got the ambient light strip for the dash but there's no bulb or plug. Got the plug in the holder above the glove box but where's the bulb? Is it an additional part or is it hiding somewhere? Ambient lights enabled and the cup holders lights work fine (retro fitted titanium centre console).

Thanks for any help!

I might be being a bit thick here, but I haven't a clue what you're on about here. Could you add a couple pictures? I take it you're trying to fit your own light strip above the glove box?

Forget it, you wouldn't notice after a couple of days.

I didn't.

It all looks like Blackpool illuminations, madness.

The battery drain must be horrific. This is progress, of course.

Yes that's it. I have the strip and found the plug behind the glovebox, but no led/light bulb for it.. the strip is like this (but not sure if the 'kit' includes more than just the strip): https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/272379228941

Isn't that strip the lights?

Also that's ***** expensive for what it is

You're telling me, hence I got hold of the strip off ebay for £17. Sadly no led.. I could make one though..

There is a separate bulb and bulb holder that you can get from the dealer.  Its under a tenner so not too expensive.  You insert the long end of the strip through the small hole at the end of the recess in the dash then click it all into place then reach under and attach the plug into the led bulb holder then plug it into the rear of the long but.  Hope that makes sense lol.

Ah great thanks, I'll pop down and have a word then. Thanks again!
