Hotpoint Dryer start button (how to help needed)

Just a few weeks ago the start button has to be pushed right in to start it but i aint got a clue how to take the top off to have a look.

Does anyone know if its the front what comes off or top,have taken off a few screws for the top which are at the back but don't seem loose.

    Remove the screws, lift up the top at the back an inch or so and push it towards the front. Could take a fair bit of persuasion :wink3:

    The screws will be at the back of the dryer. But the button is on a circuit board so be careful when you're poking around the switch.

    I did think it would be on a circuit board so thinking it could be sealed on the board.

    I did remove the screws but bust have to give it a more to get it off,some slide to the back then lift but this seems dam solid.

    Cheers again,all sorted as the circuit board just popped off the clip,this site comes to the rescue again.
