I would be really grateful for some advice.

I currently have a 2009 Volvo V50 but am thinking of getting rid of it - the boot is just not big enough, despite being an estate, for a buggy, toys, shopping etc.

We only have one child at the moment but we would like another and are going to need something with a better use of space.  

What do you think would be a worthy alternative?

Mondeo estates have a very nice sized boot and we have also considered the S-Max, C-Max and Grand C-Max and Focus estate.  Not sure what I might get, given my budget.

My only real stipulation is that it is going to have to be a petrol, really - we only do about 8,000 miles per year.

Any pointers would be much appreciated.
