His cables are the real deal and nobody has ever complained about them.
It's the sellers of units with cheap cloned chipsets in them you have to avoid.

If you get a cheap cable, you will know about it (Forscan will complain to high heaven that you have a cloned device, even though the majority of the ELM327 devices on the market are clones of the original chip).

If you can't get one from the seller above give us a shout, I bought a cable recommended on a mk5 mondeo FB page and it's also top drawer.

When you get it you will need to apply for the free Forscan license. Just be careful and make sure you only change one thing at a time and keep a note/backup of your original settings. I have a printout of my 'as built' settings.

No there are no instructions at all. The best place to go is the forscan forum, I'll see if I can find the link I used
