Hi everybody

I recently bought a Ford Fiesta mk6 54 plate unfortunately it only came with one key and it wasn't the master because of this I cannot remotely operate the central locking I bought a key fob from eBay tried to put the car in program mode /learning mode turning the key from 0 to 2 4 times under 6 seconds but I get no indication that it's gone into that whatsoever is this because I have a slave key and not a master key iv been trying to figure this out for the last two weeks can someone please help.

As long as you have one key with a recognised immobiliser chip then you can program central locking.
Use the existing key to activate learning mode (II to I four times) and press the unlock button on your new fob.
I would assume that the new fob key doesn't have a recognised immobiliser chip?
In that case it will need to be added to the immobiliser system by an Auto Locksmith.
