I am having an issue with the interior black box (see pictures). The original adhesive came off so I replaced it with it Unibond No More Nails Strips. However, these didn't work either.

 

Any ideas or previous experience with this?

Adhesive velcro strips or mirror fitting pads.

Give the area a good clean with alcohol wipes first to degrease it.

I'd second the mirror adhesive/pads suggestion - they are purpose designed for the job.

I'd hate to hijack a thread, but what the ***** hell is that box?

Also silicone if you can be arsed to get it neat, or 3m sticky pads are really strong, but you would need a big one and cut it down to suit, otherwise you can see the outline of the pad from the outside.

Use alcohol to clean both surfaces beforehand. Possibly even a little scotch brite pad on the box.
