Sync 3 navigation

Featured Replies

Hi all. Have just completed my first long run in my Mk 8. Everything works as advertised except on my journey back home the satnav lost its GPS signal. Never regained it until I stopped at a service area and when I switched the ignition back on satnav was working again. Hoping this is just a once of glitch unless anyone out there knows different.

If there was nothing interfering with it, it could just be a software gremlin.

Future software updates could resolve it.

Do you have any dashcams, or electrical devices connected?

No dashcam or any other electrical items connected. Satnav worked perfect on outward journey of 150 miles and 3 hours duration.

Haven't checked with the Focus forum which I believe have had sync 3 for a while.

Problems with the Satnav no. Problems with Spotify yes. When you contact your phone sync 3 can't always find Spotify.
