Radiator hose split

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

i have an an issue with my brothers Mk1 ka collection and it is that one of the radiator hoses have a slight split in it. It's the downward short hose on the drivers inner wing/ chassis rail and the split is somewhere towards the connector at the top of the hose. I am just wondering if anyone has had this issue and how much money it would roughly cost? Or is it possible to be done by myself? I can't seem to even find that particular hose on eBay or anywhere?

Thanks in advance

Is it the small hose from the expansion bottle to the radiator going along the wing

I'm not 100% sure because it isn't that easy to see in the engine bay so not sure where it connects to. I do know that there is a connector half way up the hose with a t piece on? It's not a small diameter hose?
