Engine code AOWA

I require a new engine for my SMAX and the current engine has a code AOWA which is becoming very difficult to find.

 

Will a different engine code fit fine (AOWB or AODA) or are they completely different so will not fit.

I have recently fitted a aoda engine in an smax it is the same as an aowa you will need to use your wiring loom end your clutch and flywheel but it will fit ok.
