Ford Focus 58 Reg 6000CD Faulty

I have a Ford Focus 6000cd Faulty.

Not long purchased this car.

Every time I put music on it keeps going on to Phone mode & the music goes off!

 

I have tried connecting my iTouch via the AUX but it still goes on to Phone

I will appreciate any help you can give me.

I have also reset this by holding the centre button for 15 seconds.

But it repeatedly goes onto Phone mode with no phone connected

Have you tried disconnecting either the radio or the car battery for half an hour?

Make sure you have the radio code first!!

Any third party handsfree devices in the car? Any sign that any have been fitted? (Screw holes, sticky residue, etc)?

There may be something connected to the quadlock connector that is putting the radio into phone mode.
