Sync 3 navigation system search with coordinates

New to the forum.  I have a 2017 F 350 with the sync 3 navigation system.  I tried to search out a location using coordinates but the system never was able to locate it.  Any suggestions?  I tried several different locations with no luck.



How are you putting in your coordinates? Looking at the manual it is expecting a LAT/LONG format, e.g. 

40.727008,-75.394671 (Bath, PA) - the manual says 1-6 decimal places accepted. You must insert the negative sign!.
