This may be a easy question but How do you change a bulb in the running lights?

You've posted the same question on here and facebook ... it would have taken less time AND given you the answer if you just looked in the owners manual!

The OP has asked a question twice but in two completely different places, possibly to capture more people who may be able to answer? Maybe he doesn’t have a manual, perhaps it’s an electronic manual that they can’t access on their phone and they have no access to a pc? They could have been out and looking into buying one and needed advice as soon as? This is the OPs first post and you choose to berate them, a forum is a place to offer advice, share and gain knowledge. If you don’t know yourself @simonb65then just keep scrolling.

@camsteraye if your Edge is a 2018 then it must be very new to you, do you have the pure white DRL that uses an LED? If so then that is going to cost you. These things are expensive but have a very long lifespan so I would take it back to the dealer and ask them to replace it under warranty. They should last many many years. If it is a halogen bulb then I believe it is an H15 dual filament bulb. Either way if you have Owned the car less than 6 months then I would chance your hand with the dealer and ask them to replace it for you. Hope you get on ok.

@Jonro2009, I know how to change my bulbs because I've done it many times and I read owner manuals. I would say that on the most part, it's self explanatory when you open the bonnet and look at the back of the light cluster. I am not berating someone, I am merely pointing someone in the direction of the information they need , and have already got!

Both posts were posted 9 hours before I commented and read by over 34 people, non of which offered ANY assistance.

Forums are great for finding out stuff that is beyond the ordinary, but come on ... the original post was just LAZY, we all know its easy to ask ... but its just as easy to go look. It took me 3 minutes to find the info (not how it was done, but so I could give the actual page number in the manual to the poster - See Facebook Comment on the same question), and that was after downloading an owners manual from the ford website.

You say they had no access to a PC, but had access to post the question in multiple places

**They already have the info you are right but for one reason or another they haven’t used it or haven’t got the info they want**

**I agree, it is lazy to ask, but it’s the main function on a forum isn’t it? To ask and answer questions. There are some questions I wouldn’t as, same as you but others do. If I think the OP is lazy then I scroll past and ignore it.**

**I have no access to a PC but I can post here and on Facebook**

Anyway, he still doesn’t have the answer. You could be nice and copy and paste the answer from the hand book, it is nearly Christmas [emoji6]

Now now ladies...  keep things friendly. 🙄

That’s me told lol.
