Christmas is near with no gift idea!

Featured Replies

Hi all. Really struggling for gift ideas this year. Anyone got any gift ideas for a young female?

No clothes though! Tried that one last year, everything got took back right after Christmas!

Have you tried asking her?   She's probably been dropping hints for months that you've missed lol...

Does she have any specific hobbies?  What sort of budget?

my misses loves gift sets so iv done the boots offer of 3 for 2, i will be buying some more other stuff. my best advice is to go 'shopping' up the local shopping center. as blokes we are programmed to moan and grone about how long we've been there, she will most likely hint at stuff that looks nice, thats your best bet to go for.

im currently restoring a old rusty horse shoe i found at the stables which she goes to so im going to mount it on a board and put some lettering on there dont know what yet. (takes the mic to restore, rust id off not got to smooth it off).

The in-thing seems to be Pandora bracelets, my missus is mad for them.

A good thing to buy is experiences.

For example, buy tickets to go and see a musical together or buy a weekend getaway. These have gone down well in the past! :xmas:

As a rule we don't buy each other Christmas or birthday presents, we treat ourselves and get away to a gig etc around our relative birthdays. But last Christmas I did buy a subscription for Mrs Turvey's favourite home magazine, it costs about £18 a year and is on a repeat subscription until she cancels.

It's the gift that keeps on giving!

That’s a good idea! Found a scary experience in London!

The boots idea is a good one, I’ll have to make sure I get all the right colours. Will have to get her bright red Lippy!

The restoration is a good idea too. I’ve tried doing something like that in the past, turned out looking worse than when I started!

Thanks for all the help guys, got a few good ideas now! I’ll probably still end up going town with a few hundred a few days before Christmas and buying everything I see! Haha
