hello my zetec s tdci 2008 caught fire sunday was inside bulk head and smelt electrical / plastic

any common faults anyone knows , is still maybe saved wont know until dash comes out

    How does one smell an electrical fire? Sure you could smell the plastic insulstion but that could be the rest of the dashboard.

    No offence but we don't have supersonic vision. There might be a few gurus on here, but nobody can tell you yes it will still run perfectly or no it's a scrapper. Fires can cause all sorts of different kind of damage to a car depending on where it originated from. You might be lucky with just cosmetic damage or something for the accessories (like the radio).
