High Idle?

My fiesta normally idles between 700-900 but today i noticed it was constant at 1100, any ideas folks?

yeah it was fully warmed up, idle dipped on occasion to 1000 but then up again to 1100

Try cleaning the throttle body and maf sensor.

check for split rubber pipe from pcv valve to inlet manifold

on my 2001 focus 1.6 which is similar design engine the tickover starting getting higher and waivering and that was a split rubber hose letting air in. the hose was beneath the inlet manifold on the front of the engine. i could see it between the branches of the inlet manifold but it was quite difficult to get to
