Doe's anyone know where the cam sensor is on a 2003 1.8 focus tdci?I need to check if it's the uprated wiring plug as i am having cold start issues - is the crankshaft sensor the one underneath the car going in sideways into the crankcase, it had 3 small pins sticking out of the sensor - if anyone can point me to some pictures of these or a link - thanks in advance David

    hi,

    cam sensor should be between both cams coming in from the top of the engine. Crank shaft sensor should be where you said i think and if it has a flywheel sensor its usually mounted just above the gearbox and mounts to the block i think
