Hi all,

Only went in for some clips today for my bumper and my plate bought up a recall warning issued January 17th 2018.

If you have the 1.6 Ecoboost engine from 2012 onwards pop down to your local Ford dealer to see if your car is on the list for those to be recalled. There’s an apparent fault with the coolant system which has lead to cracks in cylinder 3 resulting in a fire within the cabin.

Apparently its a fault which was isolated to just the US with 2013 Ford Escapes but it seems to have finally made its way over here, so I’m told. My 2012 Focus is in on Wednesday.

But thought I’d best pass it on.
