i have a 1.0 mk7.5 with de res and st back box, worth every penny made it growl louder and pops slightly on the down shift and at stand still, but does drone at 80, but i rarely get to that as i do mostly town driving.

the back box was a DIY job cut and reducer pipe as the 1.0 bore size and the st bore size is different, i used exhaust paste to seal it and then two c clamps to keep it snug been on for just under a year and not blown or budged. the de-res was done at a local exhaust place, it was £45 for the cut and weld a new section of stainless pipe in place.
