Whining Noise/smoking/rear Brakes

Featured Replies

is this normal or do i need to start saving up? my 2004 tdci auto is producing a whining noise, not really bad but you can notice it. is this the old traditional ford dif noise that old transits have or something more serious, forgot to say its done 95k. one more thing i have the usual smoking due to egr/carbon build up. the manifold is choked up as well, can the manifold be cleaned and if so re-fitted without a torque wrench. the build is not dry its a bit oily, is this normal. also handbrake is useless but rear brakes do need replacing, will this sort handbrake aswell or is this seperate. quite a few issues so thanks in advance for any help you can offer. if there is anybody near preston who likes to fix mondeos for not much money feel free to contact me. (well god loves a trier)!
