INBAY is a new range of products being launched in the coming months from Connects2

As saw on TV with the skan.k Rita Ora and the new Samsung galaxy,

Connects2

Have a pad which fits hidden under your existing cup holder in your car,

Simply sit the phone in the cup holder,

Or

In a single din empty pocket inside your dash,

The battery in the phone will begin charging without wires :)

These products are not exclusive to the Samsung S6 neither

Connects2 will also be selling adaptor pads to fit inside the iPhone 5 onwards

And any smart phone that has a micro usb yes any smart phone :)

The range from connects 2 is called INBAY and due for release later this year.

Heard it here first people :)

I have part numbers for the full range from connects2 if desired.

Also had my first magazine feature interview with Connects2 today for there magazine also coming soon

Feeling pretty epic about that too its gonna be tight yo!!

Cheers mate,

Some great equipment in there,

I've used many of there products on my focus build and i must say the build quality of all items is exceptional,

Looking forward to fitting one of these contactless chargers inside the "garage door" compartment on the mk2.5 focus looks awesome

The stupid thing in my case is that I recently picked up a Brodit phone holder which is attached to the driver side pillar and have a fast charge cable to hook up to it.

If the Inbay is priced right, then I may pick one up as a secondary charge location and/or place for a passenger to charge there phone if I am using the Brodit.

I just bought a wireless charging kit - spent less than a tenner on it! if it works, I will just buy another few charge pads, and mount one in the car (under the cup holders, or maybe in the top of the arm rest or similar).

Which pad? Would it fit into the cup holder at the bottom? Only thing I can think of that might not work is if the phone needs to be flat against the charge pad and whether or not you could lay most smartphones flat in the space of the cup holder (will have to test with my Nexus 5).

Mines a universal kit...

I will be trialling its limits. I will try charging through things, and if it charges through a layer of plastic, I will install it somewhere in the car, like the cup holders, or more likely around the gearstick!

Hmmm from the description:

Charging pad:

Transmission range :5-10mm

Ultra Thin Receiver:

Wireless distance: 5mm

If true then it will be limited to above most of the plastics in the car :(

Probably true. Even then, I could run the wiring up to in front of the instrument cluster and lay it in front...

Been running my wireless charger for a while and it works perfectly! I got a smaller set of charge pads as well so I can slip one in the car as I finish up my dash druid project
