scorey23 Posted May 10, 2009 Share Posted May 10, 2009 hi everyone i have got a 1989 mk 4 escort convertible with a 2.0 zetec engine. running a xr3i gearbox. i want to know will i be able to fit a mondeo st24 engine in my car if so will i need to change the gearbox. i know when i fitted the zetec i had to change the oil filter to make it fit will i have to make any other changes like this. thank everyone stephen Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

sammysamon Posted May 25, 2009 Share Posted May 25, 2009 yes it is advised but you dont have to change the gear box because you you can use 1.0 pop pop gear box on a power banded 2.0 zetec because nearly all engine parts e.g gearboxes fit any other ford engine part fact lol but yeah beta off have the downer car cos you can use every thing itll be funny tho lol 1.6 gear box ona 2.5 ish v6 MAD MAX STYLE LOL keep me posted plz m8 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
