Ford Mondeo Mk4 Heater Control Unit - Manual

Featured Replies

Hi, please can anyone help me, I have recently bought a Mk 4 Mondeo estate, unfortunately there were a few electrical issues with it (it was an ex Police admin car, and I think they ripped out the stereo etc to put back in the original one, but in doing so, they made a bit of a dodge job, most of which is now sorted.  However, while originally the heater was stuck on hot, which turned out to be just the clip having popped out, I now have an issue where I can't direct where the heat comes from, there was a loose sprung cable which had yellow plastic at one end, which goes into the back of the control unit.  The other end has green plastic, and looks like it fits into a black plastic tube to the rear left.  Unfortunately, it just appears to spin and do nothing, any ideas if there is a part that is missing, and if not, what I can do to fix it?

Cheers,

Dan
