Help to find a part please - abs modulator XR3i

Featured Replies

An old friend of mine has had an XR3i ltd edition cabriolet from new in the 80's. He has lost his sight now and has finally decided to sell his car on with 35K miles and full history. For as long as I can remember it has just gone for an annual service and MOT and maybe the odd shopping trip. it's a nice car. I took a wee look the other day and saw his ABS modulator was leaking. The part is apparently different to the one on most models OE-Nr: 6590128. Ford do list the part, but it is out of stock. Does anyone rebuild these units? Anyone break and may have the part in stock? Any suggestions? I'd like to help him to get it in saleable condition.
