Can't get car to start

Featured Replies

Hi all I  new to the forum and looking for some advice if possible please. I recently bought a 2008 fiesta 1.4 tdci whilst driving home 1 day it displayed a cog symbol on the rev counter and went in to limp mode. But before this happening it was really hard to start a couple of days previous took 2 or 3 attempts before it would start and then kick out white smoke which smelt of diesel. I looked at the service book and noticed it hasent had a service for 12 month so thought I would do this to see if it helped whilst doing this I did glow plugs at the same time just to make sure I eliminated any other starting problems. (Which I was wrong lol) now the car won't start at all I have bought a diesel priming kit and was wondering if anyone could guide me for the best way to bleed these things up please like where to connect the pipes to and from. Any help with this would be great as it' doing my head in now lol.

Thanks for your time

Ryan
